Proteins are one of the essential requirements of the body. They work for the growth and maintenance for the body tissue. They  are also known as the building blocks of body tissue, and the reason behind is that many of the structure of a body part like nails, hairs, tooth enamel, bones consist high amount of protein in them. Protein helps in repairing cells, building bones and muscles, providing energy, and also in controlling different essential process related to metabolism of the body. Even all the enzymes in our body are proteins. Enzymes are some large biological molecules that help in the chemical conservation that needs to sustain life. One should have an ideal protein diet to maintain the body regulations, body growth, stabilizing the blood sugar level, assist in hormonal activities, helps to control in weights.

Natural resources like vegetables, beans, chicken provide a minimal amount of protein to the body.
